Microsoft has buried the switches to enable ASP server side debuggging in the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). Follow these instructions to be able to debug ASP code on the web server:

Steps:

  1. In Windows NT or Windows 2000, launch the MMC:
Start | Programs | Windows NT Option Pack | Microsoft Personal Web Server | Internet Service Manager
  2. Using the left hand panel, navigate to the virtual directory for which server side debugging should be enabled.
  3. Right click on the virtual dirctory in the left hand panel.
  4. Choose Properties
  5. Choose App Debugging
  6. Enable ASP server side script debugging
  7. Enable ASP client side script debugging
